Leaving the Garden of Eden

This painting is about changing the perception of the expulsion from the Garden of Eden from a punishment inflicted upon Adam and Eve to an act of a proactive choice to depart. It is a chance to view traumatic change as the start of a new, enlightened, free, and responsible life.
This painting is part of series of paintings that I am working on which explores biblical events by attempting to analyze the story from the perspective of the “Age of Enlightenment”.
