I draw my themes from within the world’s forward movement and let them mirror our vulnerable existence. The human figure in relation to nature has always captured my imagination. I keep going back to sea scenery in order to explore this motif.
I live in Tel Aviv near the sea, where I swim on a daily basis, all year round. I often take photos of the beach and seascape, which inspire my painting.
I am challenged by abstraction, yet figuration is a crucial factor in my work. Through the human figure I can tell a story.
