Livneh
Yitzhak Livneh (b. 1952, Israel) studied art at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem and at Hunter College in New York. Livneh taught art at the Bezalel Academy from 1984 to 2019.
He is a painter whose works have been featured in galleries and museums in both Israel and abroad. He currently lives and works in Tel Aviv.
As painter, I am interested in the nature of painting and the making and unmaking of images. My works are always challenged by photography and the impact of its invention on the production of images.
