Avidor
Shira Avidor is a graduate of the Fine Arts Department at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. From 1998-1999 she studied at the Jerusalem Studio School with the acclaimed painter Israel Hershberg, and in 2006 received an MFA from the Program in Painting at Boston University.
Avidor has won several awards and scholarships, including the Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner artist grant, the Esther and Albert Kahn Award, and the State of Connecticut artist scholarship.
Avidor’s paintings are featured in many art collections, including the Israel Museum, the President of Boston University, the Prudential Insurance Company, and the Jerusalem Foundation.
