Bentov


Lior Bentov (b. 1984, Kharkiv, Ukraine) moved to Israel in 1990 and currently lives and works in Tel Aviv, Israel, where he creates art under the pseudonym “Pesh”. Bentov graduated from the department of Visual Communication at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design.
Pesh is a multidisciplinary visual artist, who works in various mediums, mostly walls, in both public and privately-owned spaces. His works have a unique style that explores the relationship between geometric shapes, colors, and images, which often lies somewhere between the figurative and the abstract. He devotes special attention to architecture of the sites on which he creates art, which contributes another layer to the artwork.
Pesh has held both solo and group exhibitions, and has participated in numerous mural projects and artist residencies around the world.
