I am a multidisciplinary artist working in video, installations, sculpture, and print. My work generates a dialogue with theater and dance, and thereby explores the intersection between visual arts and performing arts. One of the central themes of my works is the female body, which serves as a metaphorical junction where private and social issues are fused together. The female figures in my works appear to perform extreme states of flexibility and strain, which raises questions regarding the body’s boundaries. Through my works, I attempt to rethink cultural narratives and establish a new choreography that allows affinity to the body and the story it tells.
